Kindra A. Weston
Kindra opened Midwest Mental Health in December, 2015. She has obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Northwest Missouri State University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from Bellevue University. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Clinical Counseling Program at Bellevue University. She grew up in southwest Iowa and loves living in the country. She and her husband own Weston Primitive Co. in Shenandoah, IA. They spend a great deal of time out looking for antiques and traveling.
Janice L. Wilson
LMHC, NCC, BCPC
Jan has worked in the field of psychology for over fifteen years. She has obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Counseling/Psychology from Northwest Missouri State University. Jan is an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoys music and regularly plays the piano for her church. Jan loves to travel and watch theatrical productions of all types.
Peter F. Fowle
Peter is a clinical social worker who earned his Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Toronto, Canada. Peter worked in child protection, and community-based mental health facility for three years before turning his focus to psychotherapy in 2001. Peter has earned his Level II EMDR certification leading him to specialize in the treatment of trauma and anxiety. In his free time Peter enjoys spending time with his children, motorcycling, woodworking, and playing guitar.
Melissa J. Reed
Melissa obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services with a minor in Psychology. She brings with her, four years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities that were receiving services through the State of Nebraska in the Division of Developmental Disabilities. She has also worked in various public schools with children struggling with behaviors, learning disabilities and many other issues. Melissa has spent her life in the Heartland, growing up in Omaha, Nebraska until the 90’s, then relocating to Southwest Iowa. She lives with her husband and children in Shenandoah. They together, foster children, helping to reunite them and their families. Melissa and her family enjoy spending time together and vacationing at her father’s cabin. Melissa is very active and loves to run and workout at the gym as often as possible. Running a full marathon is a bucket list item she looks forward to achieving.
Kerra E. Ratliff
Kerra has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Peru State college. She has a passion for making a difference in children and families lives. Kerra is currently a full time employee at the Shenandoah High School where she serves as the High School At Risk Coordinator. She has been with Shenandoah Schools for a total of 7 years. Kerra was born and raised in Omaha Nebrska, she attended Peru State college where she was a part of the Bobcat softball program. Kerra and her family live in Shenandoah and both her and her husband enjoy being involved in community activities and being involved in sports. Kerra’s husband Ty Ratliff is a teacher and coach at the Shenandoah High School, together they have a son Trey who is 6 and a daughter Kyia who is 1. She enjoys spending time with her family, and friends, shopping, supporting the Mustangs and Fillies activities, and working out.
Angela D. Mace
Angela has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Peru State College and is currently completing her Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Bellevue University. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Peru State College with a specialization in Special Education. Angela has a passion for helping others in a variety of settings. Over the last 22 years, she has cared for the elderly in nursing homes, and worked with toddlers in a daycare; however, she especially enjoys teaching school age children. She previously taught special education and currently works part-time as a substitute teacher. Angela takes a positive approach to life and works hard to help meet the needs of others. She lives with her family in Northwest Missouri where she was also born and raised. She and her husband have three amazing children ages 19, 11, and 8. Angela enjoys spending time with family, running, biking, and photography.
Paige E. Osborne
Paige has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Northwest Missouri State University and is currently completing Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. Since graduation from my undergraduate in 2012 I have worked in the mental health field as a direct support professional as well as a Community Based Case Manager for Intellectual Disabilities, Brain Injuries, Health and Disability and Physical Disability waivers. I grew up in southwest Iowa and currently live in my hometown of Sidney with my husband James and our two dogs, Tank and Max. In my spare time, I enjoy getting to spend every minute with my family and boating. My favorite hobby is being able to sit down, relax and enjoy a good book!
Michelle M. Jarosz
Michelle grew up in Monroe, Nebraska and she enjoys rural living. She has a obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, a Master’s Degree in Leadership and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling. She enjoys watching her children play sports and in her spare time she likes to do some photography. They are avid Husker fans and she tries to attend some football games when it fits into her schedule.
Melisa A. Pelster
Melisa was born and raised in Shenandoah, Iowa. She attended school in town and also attended IWCC in Clarinda, Iowa until the birth of her son Ayden in 2006. She enjoys photography, swimming, and spending time with my family. She is a huge Iowa Hawkeye fan! She and her son attend at least one to two home games a year! They are animal lovers and have two dogs named Hawkeye and Herky.
Traci K. Regan
Traci has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Iowa State University. Traci has spent the last 14 years working for Shenandoah Community Schools as an elementary teacher. Traci has a passion for working with children and helping them learn and succeed. Traci and her husband Andy grew up in the Shenandoah area, and they have two children. Traci enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping, traveling, riding her bike, and reading.
Delaina N. Lindensmith
Delaina has a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Family development from American Military University and is currently working on her Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Bellevue University. Delaina has a passion for helping children and families; volunteering with the Foster Care Review Board of Nebraska and serving as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) of Sarpy County, Nebraska to ensure children’s voices are heard. Prior to that, she spent 12 years in the Air Force where she volunteered her off-duty time to teaching resiliency to fellow Airmen and serving as a Sexual Assault Victim Advocate. Delaina works hard to empower others while advocating for their needs to be met in a variety of settings. Born and raised in Southern California, Delaina moved to Bellevue, Nebraska in 2006 after joining the Air Force. After doing a 4-year tour of duty in England from 2010-2014, she relocated back to Bellevue. She has three children, 10, 7, and 5, and a fiancé. Delaina enjoys cooking, gardening, training her puppy, practicing yoga, and spending time with her family.
Devin K. Barth
Devin has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Peru State College and is currently completing her Master’s in Clinical Counseling at Bellevue University. She brings with her, experience working with children in many different settings and a passion for the mental health field. Devin is a native of the Shenandoah, Iowa area and enjoys getting the experience of giving back to her hometown. She currently lives in the Glenwood, Iowa area with her husband and their one son. In her spare time, Devin loves going on adventures with her son and husband, spending time with her family and friends, and reading everything she can get her hands on.
Austin L. Barth
Austin has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Peru State College and is currently completing his Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling at Bellevue University. He brings with him a passion for the mental health field, and knowledge about how to help people who are experiencing or have experienced trauma. Before coming to work at Midwest Mental Health, Austin spent more than two years working in the Residential Treatment Center at Boys Town, where he worked with kids who were suicidal and others that had behavioral disorders. Austin also worked with fire and rescue during his time at Peru State College. Austin likes to spend his free time with his wife and son and enjoys being active in the community.
Mary L. Dinville
Mary is a Certified Professional Coder and has worked in the medical billing field since 2004. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends whenever she can, camping and working in her flowers/yard. She enjoys attending junk festivals with anyone that is willing to go along. She is originally from the southwest Iowa area and attended school in Fremont Mills. Mary and her husband Steve raised their three children on a farm near Randolph, IA. They welcomed their nephew Tristan into their home five years ago, and are so proud of the man he has become. Steve and Mary moved to Tabor three years ago and are enjoying making it their forever home.
Erica D. R. Bowers
Erica obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Studies from Buena Vista University. She has a passion for helping other people. Erica brings with her, five years of experience working in various schools assisting children who have different learning disabilities and behaviors. She also has eight years of experience working in the medical field with a wide variety of patients. Erica lives with her husband in Sidney. She enjoys crafting, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
