The concept for our clinic was derived from the idea that people/families in our community needed access to a facility that offered a more comprehensive mental health program. We solely focus on mental health and strive to provide the best patient care possible. Our services include family therapy, marriage counseling, individual therapy, play therapy, EMDR, BHIS and more to come in the future. We are constantly working to expand our staff of providers, as well as the number of services we offer to the community.
It is the mission of Midwest Mental Health, LLC to provide the highest quality of care to the individuals and families we serve. Midwest Mental Health is committed to meeting the changing needs of our clients’ unique circumstances by increasing individual and family strengths and promoting easy access to services in rural southwest Iowa.
Our mental health providers are fully licensed and committed to providing the best possible patient care. All mental health providers must participate in continuing education in order to maintain licensure. We believe that attention to detail and a strong rapport will allow our therapists to have a strong therapeutic impact. We are committed to treating all individuals and will not discriminate due to race, religion, sexual orientation, or ethnicity.
Our BHIS staff are trained extensively and hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. They work intensively with families/individuals that are struggling with the loss or deterioration of a skill due to a mental health issue. The goal is to assist the individual/family to returning to their normal or improved level of functioning.
